THE WILL TO LIVE

I will keep on furiously writing,
Cannot stop even if I try,
Keep on madly laughing,
If I stop I will cry.

I will keep on blindly staring,
The world full in the eye,
Keep on strongly surviving,
If I stop I will die.

I will keep on hiding the truth,
Keep living this age-old lie,
Keep on humming happiness,
No one will hear my sigh.

I will keep on climbing mountains,
To keep constant this high,
Keep pushing away the answers,
Just hold on to my why.

I will keep on changing faces,
To keep out those who pry,
Keep following the sunshine,
These tears will never dry.
