The twinkling eyes, the charming smile,

The heady gait, the full-throated laughter,

The loving heart, the bravery awards,

You soared so high, touching the stars,

And the forbidden skies, creating history,

Making hearts swell with pride,

A sudden upsurge, a roaring outburst,

The nation calls, you attire in full honours,

Though the final time, so graceful so proud,

Your wings soar, the skies engulf you,

Eyes look up hoping, the skies might turn around, and let you go in the out-stretched,

Arms of the mother, the brother and your love,

Thoughts, dreams and hopes remain unfulfilled,

Fate.....how could you be so cruel?
