MIRAGE

I recline I repose in the vicissitude of timeless solitude,
Yearning for that one moment of true solace,

Human mind a wreck less machine of soul wrenching thoughts,
Not a moment's peace ,it stretches scenes of past,

Some old some new some wishes not to be true,
Races up and down the memory lane,

A solitary cloud blankets the scorching rays of the sun,
Peace descends, heart flutters, soul ascends  into higher realms,

Oh! is this  what my heart and soul always yearned for,
A Voice whispers softly ....
A mirage, a mirage..............
