Maze of your never ending memories,
Trapped in the mind's coziest cobwebs,
Down the lane of loving moments, engulfed in time's haze,
I get lost, lane after lane, just leading to one forgotten face,
Time stands still, nothing moves, tentacles of timeless memories,
Send a seething pain ,tugging at heart's tender chords,
Scenes of unforgettable past, play across life's canvass,
Each more touching ,bringing more pain,
Oh! could you wipe away the memories ,from across this maze,
A smileless face stares from the heavens above,
Its piercing looks delve deep in my psyche,
Where did you go? why did you go?
Its piteous eyes just silently probe.. for answers ,
Which shall never be......
