Listening to Your Eyes

Every time you speak to me
I hear the words, and try to know
what you want to say
more importantly, I listen to pauses
in between the words, you say
your pauses convey more....

They tell me how you feel
the way your eyelashes look down
when you tell me something so softly
the way your eyes smile and dance with joy
when something makes you happy


the way, you hold your fingers together
when tense
the way , the pendant of your chain moves sideways
when you jerk your head behind
and enjoy a hearty laugh......

no wonder
I find that when I am talking to you
I keep on looking at your face
because your face tells me much more
than the words ever can

of course
you find it little strange...........
