Everyday I go to the station
and see the train
she has promised me , that
she will carry me to you
and she carries her word
I am sure of that
every day
I look wistfully at the train
I look wistfully at the calendar
I look wistfully at the date
but
this train,
clean and decked up
resounds the town
reminding me that she is there to take me to you
I know
one day , I'll go with her
come to you
leave her behind, and I also know
she will not mind
till then
I'll keep on having an affair with
this train....
