I ask myself...
Whose face is this in the mirror?
Is this really me?
Why do I smile when I am aching?
Is all what it really seems?

I ask myself...
What is it you want from me?
Who is it you need me to be?
Do I contort myself into any form?
Should I do all just to confirm?

I ask myself...
Have I lost myself somewhere?
How will I be found?
In this realm of deprivation
No touch, no sight, no sound.

I ask myself...
Am I still here?
Why am I searching for the shards of my soul?
Who will I find when the pieces mesh
to form a perfect whole?
