When The Earth Shrugged..![]()
|
"Unseen they suffered,
Unheard they cried,
In agony they lingered,
In silence they died."
One lazy morning when God decided to sleep
The Earth awoke and shrugged her tired shoulders.
A dance of death...
A trembling abstraction...
And the canvas of deathscape was painted.
Under the haphazard mountains of rubble,
Buried beneath the monstrous debris of stone and steel, wood and bricks, mortar and concrete
Now lie
..the heartbeats of the living,
..the strangled desires of the surviving,
..the mutilated dreams of thousands,
..the forlorn hopes of the abandoned,
..the frozen tears of the orphaned,
..the stoic march of the displaced,
..the carbonized remains of the beloved...
In this seismology of life
Can we measure human tragedy on the Richter's Scale???
