WELFARE
Is
it a mirage, the governments way
To oppress a person to make them stay
Blind to the fact that there's more to life
If only you get up, get out, and strive.
The battle to self-improvement is rough and long
It's survival of the fittest one must be strong
Bury your heart in a cement grave
Or you'll become one of the system's slaves.
You have sold your soul to the USA
Now it's in control of what you eat, how you play
You're no longer a human, just a number a case
Society looks down on you in disgust and disgrace.
When will you learn that you have but one life
Your actions, your decisions only you can decide
Everyone falls down from time to time
But the strong pick themselves up, dust off, and keep trying.
