Our Secret Place

We see the inn through freshly fallen snow,
As streams of smoke rise from the chimneys three;
Tall sentinels, their arms snow laden now
In silence seem to call my love and me.
Un-noticed as it's nestled 'neath the trees
Protected from the storms that come its way;
On drawing closer, we at once perceive
A place where we shall spend each loving day.

Our haven from the storms of life that seem
To try to keep us from the love we feel;
'Tis there we may be free to live our dream,
To love and thus consent our love as real.
Our secret place that only we will know,
Our hearts combined as one.. no one between;
The love we have will then begin to grow,
Fulfilling one by one...our every dream.
