Dissolving into your own thoughts When you begin to fall.. then rise There are some very strong knots Which raise you to the skies. I am the stuff that dreams are made of For they reside in me I live in them They thrive on me They give me moments wondrous And I lose myself in them I am like a passing breeze Never meant to be still I know what it means to move on Leaving a trail behind Dreams quench my thirst Dreams satiate my appetite They help me enhance my immune response And my non immune response too I dream of all the moments that were mine No I never dream of what will be I do not dream of the future far I only day dream Of what can be Of what could be Of what gives me amazing fantasies But I never wish – wish hard – for them to come true ‘Coz whatever will come to me And wherever I manage to reach Is all that will be true Is only what will be true I never dream of what is out of reach I only dream of what could be mine I never dream of the future far I only day dream In a moment I turn into a cloud In another I am in your arms It is eternity Now I am here but soon you find me gone I run away from no one I run away nowhere And I wish I could stay But I am the stuff that dreams are made of And dreams never stay Dreams give me joy that I wish to share This is love for me This moment passing which is mine Which can be ours forever I know not what love means to you There is no lust here But a very powerful tie That puts me into your thoughts And you into mine This may not entirely seem true to you But in this moment there is Uncontaminated unconditional love And that is the stuff dreams are made of And therefore, I love to daydream. ~Khwab~
