Hell Froze Over Why
did you silently walkout of my life with
no warning and filled it forever with emptiness? Merciless,
without a cause, created a void, dumping
me into blistering heat of the hell’s fires Did
you realize that you locked me for eternity into
the jail of confinement of the loneliness? Confinement
of solitude for me, much severe than
being buried alive, or torture to blindness Without
you on my side every second, comforting
warm hugs and showering tender kisses Would
be content of a body without any sensations like
a leper, never to know as a curse Happily
go deaf without any treat of the enchanting
music you make with your secret whispers Whispers
in my heart chanting in love lunacy, the
trance that may make me decline the heavens Blindness
is bliss without your smile shining on
me all waking and sleeping moments of my days Even
the creator smiled as his hands chiseled with
delicate precision sculpting your unique face Birds
feeling the heaviness of their wings have lost any
interest to glide high taking to the skies Have
lost their hunger and cruelly refused to
feed their chicks, mindlessly ignoring their cries The
herds have lost all their appetite and stopped grazing
and collapsed with their little ones Even
the pride have lost their hunger for the prey, buckling
to the ground on their weak knees Rivers
do not see any purpose in flowing, sinking
to the earth, as devil famine laughs in silence The
fish are jumping out of the water to suffocate in
a mass suicide, with the ever-shrinking seas The
Sun is getting cold, as all the planets have
started to shiver a lot in the freezing coldness The
stars have lost their shine, and glitter, as
the sky looks scarier than the hell with darkness The
world is going on a stop-work strike, with
my life unlit by the scintillating glow of your face How
can there be any celebration of life ~KRS Murthy~
