A Quest For True Colours
there
is a riot of
colour and fragrance. And
one can ask for
nothing else to
have a reason for
celebration. I
walk out of my house, in to the noise of harassed voices and
look at the crowd ……of
countless faces, with
the same grim look which
they wore even the day before. Not
many seem to be in harmony with
the scheme of nature and
as I buy a packet of
synthetic colour, a
soft wish escapes
my lips; May
all true colours agree on
this particular holi ……and
ever after. And
if you still
feel down and
blue, wear
a smile and open the door before
these colourful days are no
more. Extend your hand to
a fellow man And
I am more than
sure that
life’s true colours will all be yours. And
that…… is a gentleman's promise. ~ Dr Chandra Shekhar ~
