WORDS

Words are like a river in flood

Sometimes like the dry bed in a drought

Leaving mouth and lips, they wave goodbye

Regretfully sometimes, sometimes gladly

They fly upwards...or downwards !

Bringing  joy and sadness, love and hate

They can be prosaic and also deep

They bring understanding.....but  often they don't

They can make or break, heal or hurt

You have to be careful with words

They are tricksters and frauds

They are sincere and honest

One will betray or sorrow bring

One herald the coming of romance

The  fall of leaves in autumn

The budding trees in spring

The death of passion on stony heart

The exhilaration of  the new lovers kiss

Words can say all and must be watched

But rather watch them than the alternative

No words to say anything about anything at all..............
