WHAT WOULD I BE

WHAT WOULD I BE?

A bird would I be chirping my way through
blossoms of forest flames.!
through orchards of fruits divine.
gently gliding through valley of flowers

I would even slide down snow capped mountains.
Slide down the snow like an expert on ski!
Or gently dip my feathers in the pristine stream
and swim through gracefully in glee..

With reckless abandon would I dare
to simply savour freedom with no care!
I would reach for the skies..or be perched on a bush
the heaven or earth...would be for a wish

I would sing melodies which only I can understand
For all the others it will be hard to comprehend!
I would tell you I love you but you cant scorn at me
and fly away before you can lay a hand on me

A bird I would be...a bird I would be
with no rules to bide and no chains to tie!
I would be a free spirit in essence..
a bird I would be..and it would be ME!!!!!!!
