THEY

They stand in confusion searching for direction

oblivious to the world around them

It appears they have no hope, no dreams, or no ambition

They are easily bored and constantly tired

Their attention wanders

Gossip, money, and materialism controls them

Their motives are shallow

Their minds hollow

They are lifeless masses blowing in the oppressive winds of conformity

They cling to blind faith

Fearing life, living a lie

They do not believe that they can take control of their destinies

they believe they are controlled by an invisible force

This force to them has pre-planned their lives

They have been categorized

To them the rich the poor the sick and such are controlled from "above"

Any actions outside of compliance with their masters

Be they economic or clerical

Is considered sinful

One day I will die and lie beside these sheeple

Who died believing that a better life awaited them

In heaven's blissful temple
