Such a Love is Poetry

Such a love as holds me now
Few have ever known
I'm sure, nor has a truer vow
Been shown
Than from this love that holds me now.

She's constant my companion
And to me she does endow
Roots as of the Banyan
That I am holding now.

She caresses not my skin
As another love might
But fondles sweetly what's within
The depths
And sadly missed by other men.

She's a true and faithful mistress
In our affair no sin
And when she stepped into my mind
My living did begin.
