STARLESS SKIES

A quell, as if time would cease,
Tranquility just to please,
Snow to melt and rain to freeze,
Then in short span of a wink,
A spark from a cogent thunder,
Lit the dark forgotten skies,
Left a glow for seeking eyes,
And when I connected the lines,
Across the vault of heaven,
The stars I didn’t touch,
Fell off the face of black canvas,
And the ones hanging to my lines,
Gloriously spelled your name,
With magnificent colors.

Now every time my mind in loss,
I find myself in turn and toss,
Cannot decide to stop or cross,
I wait for that tenebrous night,
When I can look up the hanging stars,
And find my trails to chain of thoughts,
With a tincture of normality,
Rain to snow and melt to freeze,
Temperate dwindle in appease,
Allay in silence of a breeze.
