SOMEONE SOMEWHERE....

I expressed my feelings to you
when you were someone somewhere.
It was a time when I learnt to dream......
It was a time to feel and awaken from numbness
I spoke of a love for you with a conviction I held
A feeling that has only grown sedate unlike ivy haywire
With roots that begin with friendship
Love that would not atrophy if it wasn't a two way street
It's unconditional, it's tender, it's loyalty is evident.
In a dream it was expressed, in daylight it is real.
Even in the troubles that rise it's a love I can't help but feel.
This doesn't mean possessing, it isn't anything conventional.
A camaraderie that is natural, an elixir that churns creative juices
I want you to know about this feeling
Know there's no underlying scheme
Only that I will be around waiting
for someone somewhere...
