SOMEONE KNOCKED

Someone knocked

on my door

and I could not help

walking to it and standing there.

Someone inside me

wanted to be there outside -

sharing,

talking,

laughing,

and so I opened the

door

and walked out

into brilliant

sunshine.

And we walked

hand in hand

for a long long time.

and the smiles were in plenty

and the laughs echoed in my heart....
