Palestine

The erstwhile dwellers are driven out
By killing or breaking their bones
Hitech weapons are brought to use
Against youngsters throwing stones

The oppressors armed with nuclear arsenals
Shoot to maim and kill;
Mankind sees what their media paints
And is blind to all this blood spill

The powers that be, of the world today
Arm and empower those who invade
For, the International Peacekeepers
Are but Arms Dealers by trade.

There would have been a hue and cry
If the land had resources like oil
And an international court would see to it
That neighbors don't slaughter or spoil

Most would fight for justice
Only if the cause was 'Mine'
Those who can help, turn a blind eye now
As it is only far away Palestine.
