My heart beats on the rhythm of love

One morning I woke up, fresh and confused too…
Deep within my heart… was rising a feeling, so new!
My heart started beating fast at the thought of someone
It was then that I realized, my heart beats on the rhythm of love!

It was too late for me to tell him that I love him
Because our relationship had gone beyond words
And we had made clear to each other,
That there is nothing as such, in between us!
But! I realized… my heart beats for him,
My heart beats on the rhythm of love!

He loves me too but never says so…
Because he is scared that my reply will be no!
Our heart beats for each other… but how stupid we are…
Being so close to each other, so very far we are!
My heart beats on the rhythm of love!

It's done now…It's over and out…
I love him…It is a fact beyond doubt,
But unacceptable our relationship will be, for my parents!
To go against them, the last thing it would be!
It's late now… for realizing…
That my heart beats on the rhythm of love!
