MY  "Dusti"  Road

My thoughts when travel, on this all a dusty road,
Could this have been a match, a soul and spirit mold,
Regretting the lost moments, and sentiments untold,
I had subdued my desires, in denial and withhold,
Hesitating, tarrying too long, for the truth to unfold,
Came to auction of that heart, long after it was sold,
Contenders winning prizes, collecting gem and gold,
I only had memories, and was left out in the cold.

In the arms of horizon, the sea kissing the sky,
Overhead the seagulls, greeting, and flying high,
At the edge of my feet, the billows breaking by,
The breeze of ocean came, to carry away my sigh,
I asked the final question, but she gave me no reply,
I could tell from her last kiss, it was a final good-bye.

Gone was the joy, fallen the love, I saw the end of mirth,
The sky of blue, behind the clouds, hiding with a stealth,
As if the Moon, and then the sun, fell off the edge of earth,
Another day, the warming sun, will never have a birth.
