Logic and reason fly out the door
You are out at sea without an oar
The control buttons are not in your hand
The earth gives way right where you stand

You don't notice when your brains abscond
When you are touched by Love's Magic Wand

You walk on air and talk in verse
Its a one way street, with no reverse
You hear the music of a non existent band
And have no idea where you stand

You are transported to a world beyond
When you are touched by Love's Magic Wand

You feel like an emperor, an uncrowned king
Your heart wants to skip, dance, laugh and sing;
Or an orphaned child, miserably alone
Unbearable agony in every nerve and bone

You are transported to a traumatic world beyond
When you are touched by Love's Magic Wand

You may be prudent you may be wise
A sensible adult who always thinks thrice
But all your reasoning run out like sand
Decisions are taken right out of your hand

You walk in a dream to a world beyond
When you are touched by Love's Magic Wand

Love makes everyone's heart dance
Even those who scoffed at romance
Nothing else matters, for love makes you sing
When you're transported on Love's Magic Wing

To instinct and feelings, you begin to respond
From the world's trodden path, you go way beyond
You don't even mind when your brains abscond
When you are touched by Love's Magic Wand
