Our uniformed men in Kargil
Have a great heart and a will
To defend our motherland
Against the onslaught of the foreign hand.

Let the enemy strike out
With their bare hands, they shall wipe out
The enemy shall bite the dust
To safeguard India is a must.

Our men in Kargil - no match in courage
Our hearts go out to them to encourage
Each day they lay down their lives
Leaving behind fatherless children and widowed wives.

Lets acknowledge their sacrifice and bravery
bow our heads in silent memory
For we cannot ever repay their debt
They all have died to save us from death.
