Everything is so endearing
So familiarly you

Nothing seems strange
Yet everything is so new

The image was always there
The reflection getting blurred

Whom to blame here

Our eyes that somewhere lost faith
Or couldn't see all that clear

The hand that kept trying
To wipe the surface clean

No one looked to the heart
That could see all along

Yes the mirror was always the same
Just a glimpse within was all it took
