The Invitation

His eyes issue a silent

hidden invitation,

Her eyes accept.

From now on

love adds a new

meaning to life.

All this while

they were alone, now

they are hand in hand.

The sun was never

ever so bright

nor the moon so shiny.

The birds never sang

so well, nor the rose

smelt so sweet.

The stars came

down to Earth and

twinkled in their eyes.

They called each other

by a new name ' honey'

and thought of no money.

The touch of his lips promise

undying love

for now she is his dove.
