There were flashes

of that light

there was brilliance

there was thunder

and there was dazzle...

There was water

from the sky

there was a cloud

in my eye...

There was grey and

there was blue

there was me

and there was you ....

There was a calm

after the storm

there was a house

which was once a home...

There was sunshine

it was bright

there was darkness

hiding behind the light....
