I advice you to break your shackles 

Berate you for wearing chains 

Scoff at you for emulating atlas 

And scold you for hiding your pain 

I preach to you to soar like the eagle 

Beseech you to rise above quicksand 

Yet, how do I part these gossamer curtains 

That prevent me from holding your hand
