To smile or not to smile .....

the rains lash

and oceans thrash

the land seethes and sways

the skies thunder and blaze

as they view

what we've brought the world to



and ponder

whether it is time

to erase everything

and begin anew

and this time

without loose cannons

like men

who will ruin it all

again



'Lousy weather',

we pronounce.

'We should build bigger dams',

we announce

earthquakes, Tsunami, floods and other 
natural disasters in south east Asia this year )
