I sit
by the candle
as the breeze that blows constantly
hides and unhides the moon -
concealing and revealing her majesty.
She
seems to be smiling;
a smile with a hint of scorn.
I shudder under her cold stare
and derperately wait for the morn.
The
breeze ruffles my hair
in my hear the desires arise
to hold you close and not let go
I see contempt in her eyes.
Forgive me, O keeper of chastity,
I cannot my love hide.
Pining away for his touch,
I wish to be by his side.
So I
close my eyes to you
and delve deeper into my heart's song,
I will be with him in his arms,
For that's where I belong.
