VOICES IN THE DARK In the dead and silent night when dogs do howl and bark In the shades of my candle light I hear voices in the dark
When there is no one by my side I do hear someone talk I shiver and I am afraid when I hear voices in the dark
I hear the foot taps twice when I don’t move or walk Fear do grip my eyes when I hear noises in the dark
My heart beat slowly dies with the ticking of the clock when I hear the silent cries of the shadows in the dark
In the darkness all alone I am in a state of shock for I have heard unknown voices in the dark
