A drop, and another..
And a soft sigh.

Silence is the most powerful scream,

That's how I saw you laugh.
Too much elation makes us numb,
I guess. Tear-drops know.

A drop, and another..
A howl of hopelessness.
That's how you bid me goodbye.
Too much pain is beyond control,
I guess. Tear-drops know.

A drop, and another..
The cry of a new beginning.
That's how you brought my tiny future
Here, today.
Cried because she was us..
Though we were far far away..
Cried in elation, cried in pain.
I know, my tear-drops know.
