REVIVAL

Arms yearningly stretched

They welcome the release

That satiatingly does sooth

Their scorching parched mood

Swaying gaily

Soaking the pleasure

Hearing the unrelenting sighs

As on them it rapidly lies

Hungering it descends

To the beauteous core

Lavishing with each stroke

Renewed life, as the moisture soaks

Slowly all the lethargy

Vanishes as it is freed

Newness languidly rules

As lovingly each is suffused

I stand at my window

Watching this miraculous ritual

How nature revives with grandeour

Its thirsting natural splendour…
