Fires Of Distress

Caught in the anguished blizzards

Excruciating  pains and passions

Whirlpools of life's miseries

Deserted lonesome deserts

Drenched  in oceans of  unshed tears,

I shriveled  without  roof or peer,

Striding  towards my disheveled frame

A fellow traveler  canopies  the  rains

Unfolds  umbrellas of love and care,

Descends a soothing  peaceful air,

Shields  ruthlessness of despair,

Life's lashing tempests he dares,

Fiery eyes emitting  rays of hope,

Striding step by step along,

Strewing my life's arid  paths,

With vibrantly fragrant flowers,

One celestially awesome day,

While dreamily the golden sun lazed,

Intoxicated behind a cloudy veil,

Without turning  behind  walked away

Is lost forever to my gaze,

In  life's flexuous tiresome maze,

Its  plundered  economies,

Unleashing terror riddled  reign,

Storms of pain engulf me

Render me breathless in their brutality

Wonder...was it  a dreamy  vision

Come to life to ignite the fires of its distress ???
