A BABY IS BORN
Death stalks the streets in far away places
As
killings and war rages on,
Annihilation draws nearer still, while
An
innocent baby is being born.
A
sudden rash of home invasions,
Campus rapes appear in numbers,
Mobs that riot in the streets, while
A
newborn baby peacefully slumbers.
The
world may be in total chaos,
But
God still has a perfect plan;
Through the miracle of birth, He
Lovingly reaches out to man.
“Hush little baby, don’t say a word,”
Words from a well-known lullaby,
As
“Adalia Jade” sleeps undisturbed,
The
rest of the world goes chaotically by.
