Perched delicately on the edge of the
cliff,
Lone
ray golden in countenance,
Struggles to penetrate her frozen heart,
Cool
breeze softly nudges at her long
tresses,
Golden strands enmesh shrouding her
loveliness,
Fall
seductively over her slender bare back,
Blossom- bathed softness of her beauty,
Sensuously blends her intoxicating
fragrance,
With
the soft essence emitting rose petals,
Her
supple skin glowing ember- like,
Melting snows of these untouched hills:
Her
mere presence ignites and engulfs the
chill,
Passions surge within her bosom,
Waiting, bedecked- bejeweled by the
loveliness,
Of
her virgin awe inspiring beauty,
Deep
blue moist eyes peering hopefully,
Through the haze and maze of
timelessness,
Looking for her love with unblinking
eyes,
Reminiscing his promise made long
painful years back,
He
would return from his sojourn in alien
lands,
With
the first golden ray of the spring
season,
Her
anguish ridden anxious eyes,
Wait
for her wait to get over,
How
long will she take, to take the plunge,
Would
it be into the warmth of his aching
arms,
Or
into the frost bitten chilly icy arms,
Of
the dark and foggy all encompassing
valley below,
Perched delicately on the edge of the
cliff,
She
wonders.......
