WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS

Overwhelmed by intensity of their play,
The time when fortune turns fate
Thousands in the crowds,
And millions back home,
All went bizarre.

It was a triumphant moment
When critics took a backseat
The same media praise their class
The much talked about "chin music",
Only had Aussies dance around the park.

The scorecard reflects our joy
Those sentiments and the magical Huddle
When the Indian willow warriors,
Recreated the magic at, 'The Oval',
The victory so much cherished.

You talk about Style or Charisma,
Or about Class and Genius,
Or about Records and Statistics,
Do we need to say more?
We are The Champions,
Born to win!
