For in the advance
When any state
Must to the future mate
One may take the stance
To look askance
At what will arrive
Before the foot plants
Follow in the dance
That all alive
Poorly contrive.
And in the subtle movements one
So seldom strives
And more rarely dives
As Icarus in the sun
Until what's left un-done,
Feeling like fate,
Advances on the run.
But before the lie is spun
Wait.

This is a poetic form I invented
and call the "pent-a-four". I call it that
because as you can see it consists of four, five line stanzas.
There are a
few rules to follow in using this form, it must be four stanzas of
five
lines, the rhyme scheme must be a,b,a,a,b b,c,b,b,c c,d,c,c,d
d,a,d,d,a and finally the first line must be repeated as the last
line.
Line length and scansion can fit the subject of the poem.
