THE BABY BOYS

(A Cinquain)

The birth

Of a baby boy

Brings great cheer to the world,

Salvation is ours, for here were born,

Krishna, Jesus...

To cast

Light on darkness

And relieve us of our sins,

One taught us truth of life, the other

Himself Pinned;

Jesus embraced

Death, to us save,

Krishna lived life fully and gifted

Us the Gita, so deliverance we may attain:

Perfect Balance;

Baby boys

Have gifted this world

So we may rejoice and adhere,

Firm on the path of moksha and be

Without Fear.

With Them

Above, around and within-

Each and every soul that lives,

There is hope for this lost world still

To Redeem.
