RENDEZVOUS

Tell me the ritual that two should fulfill
Meet in a set way, in the run of the mill
Or may be through foes or friends
Otherwise are there some trends?

Should two be born in the same maternity ward?
Else
All would be a false start.
Must there be some glitch somewhere,
If we have met not there but here?

Or should two be joint signatories
Of an affidavit to ward of worries
That on this day of the month and year
We two swear to be very dear.

Or should they go round fire, as some do,
A time wasted way
To say
You belong to me and
I belong to you.

In any other way if the two do meet
Is it that
One of them is sure to cheat?

Please tell me that
‘Coz someone has met
Me
On the Internet.
