I Recall…

Just Like...

A warm goblet of cognac

On a frosty winter’s eve,

A cool dip in the rippling

Mountain stream,

The leaping orange blue flames

Heating a numbed face,

Melody soothing and flowing

Wrapped around like a maze,

The crevices hidden and found

In a baby’s soft thighs,

The breath that floats as she

Nestles in your arms& sighs,

The spray of the unrelenting deluge

Soaking your secret desires

The silence of lovers now satiated

Entwined after the fires,

The solitude of a contented soul

As it gazes at the lone star,

The hues of Dawn and Dusk

Identical, but watched from afar…

I now find a smile tenderly flitting my mouth

As I recall those few, joyous blissful hours.
