I let him go...

We spent the most memorable days together
We told each other that we care
We stood by each other's side when in need
We held hands when the other was about to fall
We shed tears together when either one of us was in pain
We laughed together when either one of us was happy
We did all we could,
But we did it as friends!

Then one day,
We both realized...
It's something more!
We met then, as total strangers...
Looked at each other as we had never looked before
In him, I saw the man I was searching for all these days
But then,
When it was his turn to think...
He thought, perhaps we are not meant to be together...
The way I thought!
So -
I let him go!
