TINY SEEDLING OF LOVE

The delicate movements of love in my womb,
Rejuvenates sluggish heart from its cocoon,
Fills it with awe at the Creator's craft,
Sails it far into the ocean on love's raft,

The tiny seedling of our love taking shape,
Rekindles vibrant colours in the dull landscape,
Happiness awash the innermost recesses of heart,
Body revels at increased inches by the Lord's art,

Transfixed in trance I stare at the pale walls,
Images of different cartoon characters taking form,
Walks in my man love in his wild  abandoned gait,
Looks askance and smiles at our love's growing fate,

Touching my womb tenderly lest he might hurt,
Feels the soft kicking life yet to take birth,
Holding my face aglow in the aura of flawless joy,
His face flushes with the embers of love so coy,

Following my fixed gaze he eyes dullness in a hush,
Like a man obsessed he drew cartoons with a brush,
On the wall facing the crib came alive Donald Duck,
Mickey Mouse, Tom and Jerry, Pink panther O! what luck,

I painted in vibrant colours while he drew,
The art of our love and care filled the room,
The walls came live with different witty vibes,
Splattering colours of different hues and smiles,

We wished to fill colours of happiness and peace,
In the life that was little of me and little of his,
We can hear the gurgling laughter of our joy to be born,
Laughing and playing with cartoon characters on the wall.
