The Carrier

A frightful angry wind approached with a howl
Worse than any pack of dogs I ever heard growl.
Like a hurricane trapped in a tunnel trying to get out
Easier to catch a whisper than try to shout.

So strong and constant with each violent force
Mother natures voice insisting on setting her course.
Trees bending from twist to sway
Branches touching the ground on this blustery day.

A single bird riding on natures wing
Trying to maneuver and trying to cling.
Why the wind even has its own grave yard moan
Whistling through the headstones with an eerie tone.

Wind striking and emitting a scary sound
A lofty screaming ghost is always duty bound.
I Know the wind can move and change a tide
Misty spray riding the waves, over to the opposite side.
