Ryan

A tiny baby of beauty wrapped in clothes of blue
Special, singular and unique, for there is only one of you
Each finger of sculptured wonder and form
You are truly a classic and blest are we that you were born.

Each of your eyes, nose, ears and toes in their place
Even at a tender age there is softness and intellect on your face
I held your form and felt your design
Memories of your dad when he was a son of mine.

Grow in health and stature and offer a part of what you receive
May your portrait of life contain threads that only you can weave
Be as strong as your name of Ryan will always imply
Live all the moments of your life and seldom have to ask why.

Be gentle with your sisters as a sign of love
For they too were singular unique gifts from the heavenly dove
May your life be productive and generous to all
Happiness is a level of joy and believe life can be a "ball."

Know that I will always love you even if not here
For I truly loved your father and of him, we both did share.
