Gather these
Dried up daylily scapes
And break them
Into threes.
Pull some grass
From the lawn.
Fallen leaves
Will work well
And add some colour too.
Let's see?
What else?
Oh yeah
Gotta have a few
Dried up blackberries.
Now throw them all
Into the water
Filling the Red Flyer,
Stir strong
But not too long,
Then ask dad
"Would you like to taste
My soup."
