Maya

Like a river in a storm

Life gushes and gurgles by

I look at the movement around me

And wonder "What am I?"

Here they come and there they go

Humanity harries and hurries by

I stare at them buzzing around

And wonder "Why am I?"

Places go by in a flash

Life swirls and whizzes by

I puzzle at the velocity of it all

And wonder "Where am I?"

Colours sway all around me

Life shimmers and twinkles by

I blink at the blinding darkness

And that makes me wonder "Am I?"
