And
The Meek Shall...
I
was always free from your deceit,
Only you this could not see,
Your pride had you think you won,
When actually you lost me.
You used false affection to snare,
What you thought were an empty lot,
So oft have you used your charm,
That yourself you have hopelessly lost.
Think yourself why do you do this,
Discover the darkness of your soul,
Your search for light is useless,
Until you heal and make it whole.
I feel the hurt understand your pain,
But cannot fathom why,
You flee from your own true form,
When you discover your lie.
Laugh not at defenselessness,
For in vulnerability there is will,
So use not your finer flair,
To capture torture kill.
Don't underestimate a silent wail,
For in it the curse abides,
The scoff and scorn of angels,
If another heart you deride.
