YA semi-arched eyebrow A twist of the lips A snort of the nose And suddenly the temperature dips
The icy flint of the eyes A smile through pursed lips Hands crossed across the chest A back that’s rigid You see what you don’t want to hear It is put across loud and clear
A smile that widens from ear to ear A twinkle of the eye Instantly you feel wanted And are glad you are here
Head held high A panther’s gait A toss of the mane And you now know the word ‘vain’
The word not spoken goes not quite unheard These subtle gestures often speak pages more than words A word not spoken touches us, as music does the mind You do not have to speak to be heard, is what they remind ~Mayuri Sharma~
